What is indigo?
What is indigo?
indigo is a remarkable, botanical soda. It comes in three flavours that aim to rethink soda as you know it.
Our sodas are born in Sydney and made in small batches in Melbourne with natural Australian ingredients
What’s in indigo sodas? Are the ingredients natural?
What’s in indigo sodas? Are the ingredients natural?
Yes and not in a sneaky marketing way. indigo is made with real Australian fruits and natural botanical extracts, with a little natural cane sugar for balance. No adaptogens, no nootropics, no artificial sweeteners, no caffeine. Soz if that’s disappointing to ya. Just a really good small-batch soda made the way it should be.
What actually makes indigo a botanical soda?
What actually makes indigo a botanical soda?
Good question. Unlike your standard supermarket soft drink, indigo is made with natural botanical extracts – think real elderflower, cardamom, lemon myrtle – alongside gorgeous Australian fruits. No artificial flavours, no artificial sweeteners, no shortcuts.
Does indigo contain alcohol?
Does indigo contain alcohol?
Nope, indigo sodas don’t contain any alcohol.
Is indigo a good non-alcoholic drink option?
Is indigo a good non-alcoholic drink option?
Absolutely. indigo was made precisely because the non-alcoholic drinks aisle was, frankly, a bit lacking. She's complex, she's fizzy, she's got layers – the kind of sophisticated alcohol-free drink you'd actually want in your hand at a dinner party, not just reaching for because you're driving.
Can I use indigo as a cocktail mixer?
Can I use indigo as a cocktail mixer?
Oh, you can and you should. Lara's personal recommendation? The raspberry with mezcal. The pear, elderflower and cardamom is also devastatingly good with gin. If you're making non-alcoholic cocktails (mocktails, spritz, whatever you want to call them), indigo does the heavy lifting so you don't have to.
Is indigo suitable for people avoiding sugar or artificial sweeteners?
Is indigo suitable for people avoiding sugar or artificial sweeteners?
indigo contains a small amount of natural cane sugar for balance, but zero artificial sweeteners – none of that aspartame aftertaste, ever. If you're after a lower sugar soft drink made with real ingredients, indigo's your girl.
Where is indigo made?
Where is indigo made?
indigo was born in Sydney and is made in small batches in Melbourne. Proudly Australian made and owned – not a multinational in disguise. When you're buying indigo, you're backing two mates who started this because they couldn't find a botanical soda worth drinking.
